of the Attorney General Tenant's Rights guide, a well organized
site explaining the rights and responsibilities of tenants.
In addition, the New
York City Rent Guidelines Board Tenant's Rights Guide offers similarly decent information, but was compiled back in 1999.

Bronx Specific
Folks interested in organzing a tenant associaiton in their building or changing city and state-wide housing policy in the Bronx should contact the Northwest Bronx Community and Clergy Coalition at 718-584-0515. You can check out their website at www.northwestbronx.org.
West Bronx Housing (718-798-0929) offers counseling for individual tenants in need, eviction prevention trainings, an immigration counselor, and emergency preparedness training.
