Home Mortgage Disclosure data is available on the Federal Finacial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) website. Much of the data is available by census tract. Use your list of census tracts to find lending information about your target area. Simply follow the online instructions.

You can also view online maps of single family home loans per area on HUD's Online Mapping Library under Housing Program Maps, although their page is not always working.
